Step-By-Step Instructions To Create A My.NY.Gov account For New York Medical Marijuanas Card Online
To complete the registration procedure for the medical marijuana program, a patient should have an New York government account. It is an essential part of the whole registration process. If you don’t have an NY.GOV account, follow the below-mentioned steps to get one:
Visit the official portal of DOH and click the “Don’t have an Account?” button.
Click the “Personal” button, and after that, go to the Sign Up for a Personal NY.gov ID by clicking on the button.
Fill in the user and login information, check “I’m not a robot,” then click the “Create
Account” button. If you need to change your information, you can go back and edit your answer by clicking on the back button. After that, you can click on the continue and then finish buttons to continue.
Note: If a piece of information is displayed on the next screen that shows, “You might already have an NY.gov Id!” it indicates you have already used your email for another NY account. So, you will need to change your email address.
After clicking on the “Finish” button, you will receive a confirmation email and a link for further processing. The link will open an NY.gov ID Activation page where you will need to answer three security questions and then reset the password.
Note: Keep in mind that the answers to questions are needed to remember! If you are unable to retain your password, you can retrieve your ID by answering them.
