Possession of one ounce (28 gm) or less of marijuana is legal for adults over 21. Possession of more than 1oz can be penalized with jail time or a fine of $500.
A person found guilty of intent to sell or deliver marijuana will penalize with two years of jail time and a fine of $ 5,000. Delivery to a person under 18 years attracts five years of jail time and a fine of $ 5,000.
